modo 302 arrives
woo hoo!
April 3rd is the day that modo 302 was made available as a free update for modo 301 owners. We lit up the new website around 11:30am --the homepage was the last to get updated. Only a few people noticed the updated pages right away since the homepage was the last to be changed and we made the official announcement around noon (Pacific Time zone)!

I want to thank everyone who provided cool imagery for us to update our website for modo 302. You all make it easy. You know how hard it is to get imagery of this quality when you work in some other business? I am very spoiled in this regard. If I wanted to find a "dish of ice cream" I can probably find it somehere on the Forum or in the Gallery....that is amazing. Thank you all.

The website has been updated in terms of text too. It is always a balance between keeping the descriptions succinct and providing full information. I try to make every word count and keep the marketing fluff down to a minimum but I am sure that I get poetic about modo on some parts of the site. We really care about modo here and sometimes when I write about something with passion it sounds a little lame when I read it later.

We added some fancier image and movie viewing features to the website so viewing is more "integrated". I hope you all like these changes.

modo 302 in my opinion has features that we could have actually charged some sort of upgrade fee for. But modo 302 is the culmination of what we really intended modo 301 to be and charging for that is not the right thing to do. We cycled the feedback we got from modo 301 into 302 and hopefully got this chapter in the history of modo "right".

I also want to thank all of the beta testers.

It feels so good to have modo 302 out there. Enjoy.
