كيف يمكن تغيير وجهة الhelp في مايا 5 الى الملفات التي اريدها
هل هناك طريقه ام انه مستحيل
فكلكم تعرفون ان النسخه التي حملناها ينقصها ال help
فهل ممكن ان نجعل البرنامج يتوجه لل help التابع لمايا 4.5
ارجو ان تكونوا فهمتموني

انا لست متكد من الطريقه ولكن جربها لن تخسر شيء

قم بنسخ ملفات الهيلب الموجوده في مايا 4.5 والصقها في مجلد مايا 5 بحيث انها اذا كانت في مجلد باسم help قم باشاء هذا المجلد وضع الملفات به

لم اجرب الطريقه لانه ليس لدي اي نسخة من برنامج مايا

للاسف يا اخي لن تفلح هذه الطريقه لان اي وصله في الهلب تفتح صفحات على النت كان محمل عليها من قبل وقد اغلقت
فهل ممكن تغيير هذه الوصلات

اخي هل يوجد مجلد باسم help اذا كان قد تجد بداخله ملفات عباره عن وصلات انترنت قم بمحاوله تغير وصلتها بالضغط على الزر الايمن للماوس عليها واختار properties سيظهر صندوق قم بتغير الوصله التي به

وان شاء الله اخي غدا او بعد غد سيكتمل تحميل برنامج المايا لدي وساحاول معه

واي جديد ساخبرك به ان شاء الله

Issue:
I don't want to install the documentation on all the client machines. Can I
have the "help" documentation in Maya point to another computer or server on
the network?

Solution:
There is an environment variable for Maya that can be used to point the help
request so that it will search for the information on a shared drive via a UNC
path used in Windows or to a URL. The environment variable is: MAYA_HELP_URL.

For Windows:
1. You will need to install or copy the documentation to the main computer and
share the "html" directory. The default path of the directory is located at: -

For Maya 4.0
C:\AW\Maya4.0\docs\en_US\html
For Maya 4.5
C:\Program Files\AliasWavefront\Maya4.5\docs\en_US\html

The UNC path to get to the documentation directory in this example is:

\\ntserver001\html

2. On the client machine, you will need to set the environment variable so
that Maya help will look there. To quickly check for correctly setting the
environment variable, you can open a command prompt (Start-> Accessories
-> Command Prompt) and type in the following:

set MAYA_HELP_URL=\\ntserver001\html


3. Launch Maya by typing in the same shell window:

maya

4. Open the help menu within Maya.

5. If this works, then you can hard code the environment variables in your
"System" Control panel.

For IRIX:

There is a known issue with documentation being pointed to a server or a URL on
IRIX. i.e. http://server/mayadocs

1. You will need to set the MAYA_HELP_URL environment variable to the file
located at:

/usr/people/USERNAME/maya/4.0/maya.env

setenv MAYA_HELP_URL http://server/mayadocs

2. Look for the file: helpTable which is located at:

/usr/aw/maya4.0/docs/en_US/html/helpTable

Copy this file to /var/tmp

3. Using the Software Manager, remove:

A|W Maya Base Documentation (169 440 Kb)

4. Copy the "helpTable" from /var/tmp back to:

/usr/aw/maya4.0/docs/en_US/html/

5. Open the help menu within Maya.

اخي حسب ما فهمت فهو كيفية تشغيل ملفات help في حالة وجود شبكه
بحيث يتم وضع الملفات في جهاز واحد من الشبكة وتاخذ باقي الشبكه من هذا الجهاز

لا اظن انه الحل الذي تبحث عنه اخي

hi all ..... maya 5 contain the help files but in ( *.rar ) format .... & it located in ...
aliaswavefront/maya5/docs/
just open it with winrar ..... but i can`t make the like fron inside maya :(

لكن انا اريد ان استخدم الهلب ل مايا 4.5 بدلا منه ولكن كيف يتعرف البرنامج عليها
واذا كان احد لديه الهلب حق مايا 5 فليضع لناوصله اذا سمحتم
