render man is max power engine rendering in the world.for high industry Pixar .
mental ray is easy fast maximum dvd learning in the gnomon school and digital tutorial .school
i use mental ray is the best for all my render .
render software is very easy for zdepth ,alpha,color,ambient,bump,layer render....
bat the quality for software render is not perfect only render layer for compositing
good work
